A host of activities took place at the college. One project saw bridging students make a cake for a competition.
The learners were inspired by the fairytale, Hansel and Gretel. They made a gingerbread house cake and charged people 50p to guess how many sweets had been used in the creation of their masterpiece.
(Tesco donated £20.00 towards the ingredients of the cake and around £50.00 was made for Children in Need on this projetc alone).
“Children in Need is a fantastic event in the British calendar, as it encourages people from across the country to have fun whilst generating funds for the children of the world, and Otley was proud to do our bit for this great charity,” said college spokesperson, John Nice.
