The college - based just outside Ipswich - will be hosting a variety of fun cookery classes for budding Nigellas’s and Jamie Oliver's to enjoy at their state of the art FoodSkills centre.
There are two sets of programmes on offer.
The first sessions are aimed at people who are on the cusp of going to University and just need to brush up on a few basic skills.
Tips will also be given on how to make the most out of tight shopping budgets.
(These courses take place on the 21, 22 and 23 July 2009 between 9.30am and 3.00pm).
The second sessions are for 12 -14 year olds who want to perfect their cooking skills.
(These courses will take place on the 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 of August 2009 between 9.30am and 3pm).
Sheila Murphy from the FoodSkills department, said, "Thanks to all the various cookery programmes on TV, we have found that as a college, more and more young people are showing an interest in finding out more about food."
"We have run similar courses to these in the past and they have proved very popular as essentially, cooking skills are the types of skills that will stay with you for life."
All courses cost £25.00 per day.
