The staff members have all just completed a level four management qualification and were presented with certificates at a festive celebration held at the college.
College Principal, Philip Winfield presented the awards in an occasion that was co-hosed by John Woods Nurseries Managing Director, John Lord.
Philip Winfield, said, “We were delighted to host this event with John Woods Nurseries.”
“We teach thousands of students who work at hundreds of local businesses across the region and every time a student successfully completes a qualification is a great reason to celebrate as far as we are concerned.”
John Lord, added, “I believe that training can make organisations more effective, productive and competitive.”
“It helps staff feel more valued and gives them the skills they need to progress, hopefully in our business.”
“I would like to thank Otley for both this event and the training that we have received and we look forward to continuing to work with them for many years to come.”
Former college Governor, Charles Notcutt, (who is Honorary President of John Woods Nurseries) also took to the stage to congratulate staff successes.
