European partnership projects that Otley College has developed with local and EU partners:
Agroplan - European Union funded initiative aimed at helping European Union and accession countries to develop a common formula and specific methodology that will help in vocational training for the farming population in relation to farm management and production planning. Agroplan also aims to help in further stimulating entrepreneurship and innovation across the sector.
OPTIC - a Leonardo da Vinci project to share good practice and experience gained in developing distance learning materials for the forestry sector
SLIDE- eLearning et Développment: Initiatives Locales Solides - a project financed by the European Union to identify a framework of policies in each country
The aims of the project were to create resources for those with learning and reading difficulties, to acquire basic skills to be able to enter the Logistics sector (Warehouse operator) and Transport sector (Truck Driver) by piloting training materials.
The aims of the Q-CERT project, are to test and adapt the tools developed to implement an Observatory of Quality through a benchmarking system to measure quality and development in schools and colleges.
Otley College is one of the 23 partner organisations from 13 European countries.
NYMPHEA - a Non Profit International Organisation which was founded in 1992 as a network which brings together organisations of different member states of the European Union. These organisations are vocational training centres, institutions of education and development, professionals and regional groups.
