The course is designed for complete beginners and those that have a little knowledge of using a PC. The Course will cover keyboarding and basic typing techniques using Microsoft Word. You will also learn how to view and produce emails and adding attachments. The Internet will also be covered in depth with plenty of tips and shortcuts. All work will be within MS Office 2003 and Windows 7 and Internet Explorer. If you use MS Office 2007 and have this on the laptop, please bring this along to each lesson and we will cover the differences in word.

Welding - An Introduction (8 week)

This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.See details...
