You’ve taken a great digital photograph; the next step is to enhance it in the digital darkroom. This practical workshop introduces the basics of Photoshop, how it works and the essential tools for framing and adjusting images. Through a series of mini projects, you’ll be creating dramatic effects and compositions with your pictures. This is a beginner’s course; you’ll need to bring your own laptop with a licensed copy of Photoshop, and know the basics of your own computer. You’ll find it advantageous to attend the Taking Digital Photographs-an Introduction (OYAE9DTDS) prior to this course. Lunch is not provided. Welding - An Introduction (8 week)

This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.See details...
