Introduction to making your own Wedding Stationery

This one-day workshop is for those who want to make their own wedding stationery and are looking for ideas and help with techniques. The course will look at different designs and learners will make three types of invitations, a place card and a favours box. NB these will be samples only and will not be personalised. Wording, fonts and layout will be discussed and at the end of the day learners will receive a CD to take home with templates and other useful information such as ideas for wording and where to buy supplies. Please bring £3-£4 to this course for sundries items available from the tutor.

Welding - An Introduction (8 week)

This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.See details...
