Stained Glass for Improvers

Aim of course

The workshops for improvers offer students the opportunity to build on their existing basic skills of cutting and grinding glass, foiling, and soldering. These days are stand-alone so students can enrol for one or more of the Improvers workshops. A different theme is introduced for each workshop where students are encouraged to produce an imaginative panel. The emphasis is on creativity and fun, there will be a range of coloured and textured glass and other materials available. All the tools will be provided. Students will need to bring: cotton apron, tea towel or similar cloth, small scissors, pins, plasters. An additional fee of Â£5 will need to be made to the tutor at the workshop to cover the cost of materials.
