Enjoy a practical day in local woodland learning the traditional method of hedgelaying using a variety of hand tools. Equipment is provided but please bring your own steel toe capped footwear and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. The cost reflects the small group size that will allow for plenty of individual tuition. Lunch not provided.

Welding - An Introduction (8 week)

This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.See details...
