This course is designed for those who have no experience in floristry techniques. Care and conditioning plus plant and flower identification will be covered as well as gift packaging and a range of basic floristry designs. Students will be required to provide their own fresh materials (weekly cost approximately £10-£15). Some wires, tapes, foam and sundry items may be available for purchase from the tutor. A materials list for the first week will be provided upon booking.

Welding - An Introduction (8 week)

This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.See details...
