Aim of course
The aim of this course is to provide a detailed experience of all supervisory aspects of bricklaying.
What will the course involve?
This course provides in-depth tuition building on skills learnt in the Level 2 Diploma or gained in industry, using a mix of practical and theory assessment throughout the course culminating in an online exam to test knowledge.Course Content
Areas of study include setting up, organising resources and maintaining a new site. This course will involve more intricate brickwork aspects of the construction industry. The Level 3 Diploma Trowel Occupations is studied one day/week over one year.
What can I do afterwards?
On completion of this course you would be considered for an NVQ in Trowel Occupations. As the NVQ is only assessed in the workplace, you would need to find employment with a company whose work covered all the required units of the NVQ. You would be in a position to apply for a trainee supervisor/management position within the construction industry. What do I need?
This course requires applicants to have a Level 2 Diploma Trowel Occupations or 3-4 years? trade experience. A vocational entrance test may also be given if the above criteria cannot be met.Who do I contact about this course?
