Plastering Diploma (Part time)

Aim of course

This course is for those candidates wishing to progress into employment or for those from within the industry who are wishing to gain a recognised qualification within plastering.

What will the course involve?

The course contains a mixture of practical and theory based activity covering all aspects of solid and fibrous plastering.

The part-time Level 2 Diploma in Plastering is studied one day/week over two years.

Course Content

You will study rendering, skimming, screeding and decorative plasterwork. Assignments and projects are an essential part of this course.

On completion of this course you would be considered for a part-time Level 3 Diploma or NVQ 2 in Plastering. As the NVQ is only assessed in the workplace, you would need to find employment with a company whose work covered all the required units of the NVQ.

What can I do afterwards?

Students can look to progress onto a Level 3 course or seek a career in industry.

What do I need?

This course requires a Level 1 Diploma or 2 GCSEs at grade D or above, or equivalent.
