Commencing on the 5th April 2010 for a 12 month fixed term contract you will earn at least £95 per week (37hrs) whilst gaining industry approved level 2/3 qualifications.
Suffolk County Council has joined up with Forest Heath, Waveney, Suffolk Coastal, Mid Suffolk, Babergh, Ipswich and St Edmundsbury Councils in partnership with Otley College to deliver the apprenticeships.
Based within the local authorities swimming facilities you will be working with the swimming development teams to develop and deliver a programme of activities which aims to increase participation and access for the community.
You will also be given the opportunity to obtain level 1 & 2 swimming teaching qualifications.
· The apprenticeships are available to anyone aged 16 or over living in Suffolk who are not in fulltime education or holding a degree.
