Welding - An Introduction (8 week)Tutor:Ken Elmy 6:30pm to 8:30pm 17 January 2012 to 13 March 2012 (additonal date put on) 19 January 2012 to 15 March 2012 (FULL) or 26 April 2012 to 21 June 2012 This is a 8 week practical course for those wanting to learn the basic methods of MIG and MMA (manual metal arc) welding. Students will be shown how to use equipment safely and how to carry out basic welding joints to steel. Steel toe capped shoes and safety overalls must be worn for this course. Course cost reflects maximum of 8 students and includes materials. On satisfactory completion of the course, you will be awarded an Otley College Certificate of Attendance.
