Stained Glass for Beginners

Aim of course
Tutor:Naomi Brangwyn 9:30am to 3:30pm 2 October 2010 or 5 February 2011 or 14 May 2011This workshop offers an introduction to the craft of stained glass. Using the Tiffany (copper foiling) technique, students will learn the basic skills of cutting and grinding glass, foiling, and soldering. There will be a range of coloured glass available and students will be able to complete a small suncatcher design. All the tools and materials will be provided. Students will need to bring: cotton apron, tea towel or similar cloth, small scissors, pins, plasters. An additional fee of £5 will need to be made to the tutor at the workshop to cover the cost of materials. Lunch is not provided.
