This action packed course for 16 to 19 year olds looks at boosting self-confidence and life experience by gaining practical skills.

What does the course involve?

The learners experience a range of activities in Animal Care, Horticulture, Conservation, Life Skills and Sport.

Course contents

You will be studying:

- Animal Studies

- Horticulture

- Getting out in the community

- Self Advocacy and having your say

- Independent Living Skills

- Engaging with the world around you

What qualifications do I need?

Each applicant is individually assessed through an informal interview.

Additional Learning Support is available if required.

What can I do after the course?

Students can progress onto the Bridging Course.
