Aim of course

This course is held in small groups at the poultry area of the Animal Studies department. The college house rare breed chickens such as Ixworths as well as Transylvanian Naked necks and a quartet of ex-battery hens.
You will also be able to handle the hens and ask as many questions as you need. You will receive a folder of information, a certificate as well as packed lunch!

What does the course involve?

10:00am to 3:30pm

What equipment do I need?

You will need suitable clothing for working with the chickens and sensible sturdy footwear.
