Aim of course
This course delivers training for persons who apply pesticides from a conventional boom sprayer.
What will the course involve?
The hydraulic nozzle sprayer will be tractor mounted (please ask for details of quad bike mounted sprayer training).
It will cover; safe driving practice, preparation and maintenance of the sprayer, calibration and post spraying procedures.
What can I do afterwards?
At the end of the course candidates will be booked in for assessment at the NPTC assessment centre.
What do I need?
PA01 (Safe Use of Pesticides) is a pre-requisite for this course, and candidates must be able to drive a tractor.
Equipment Needed
Course members will need to provide their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) a calculator and pen.
