Apprenticeships
An apprenticeship is an opportunity to gain a recognised qualification whilst in employment.
Over the last few years we have taught hundreds of people through our Apprenticeship programmes and we currently work with over 500 companies throughout East Anglia.
Some of those students have gone on to gain full time jobs. Others have moved on to a Higher Education course either with us or someone else.
And last year in England, over 250,000 people took advantage of an Apprenticeship, getting trained in over 200 different types of skills.
Famous Apprentices and people who have benefitted from gaining a hands on skill in the UK include the chef, Gary Rhodes, the comedian, Billy Connolly, Manchester United's manager, Sir Alex Ferguson and the musician, Eric Clapton.
Apprenticeships are currently available in the following areas at Otley College:
Agriculture, Horticulture, Business Administration, Construction and Engineering, Customer Service, Equine, Floristry, Food Manufacturing, Hospitality, Management and Sport, Land and Countryside.
