Otley is proud of our agricultural roots and still remains a key and vital player in this industry.

At present, the amount of students who are choosing agricultural courses is currently on the rise.

This is because the industry as a whole is in need of highly skilled trainees and we can help give learners the skills they need to excel.

Students will gain real life experiences of industry and are actively supported and encouraged to gain work experience on farms.

Last year, learners went on a visit throughout Western Europe, seeing how other countries in Belgium, France, Germany and Holland coped with the various challenges facing the industry abroad.

Food, farming, tourism, the environment and rural affairs are all interconnected and our courses will reflect this, giving students an exciting skills set and knowledge that will not limit them to a career necessarily in the UK. The skills gained on our courses can allow you to ply your trade anywhere in the world.
